The Rivergold P.T.A. is a group of parents and teachers who support the educational activities of Rivergold Elementary School in Coarsegold, CA.
Members of the Executive Board are President Liz Kuykendall, Vice President Trudi Cacy, Secretary Sara Pillsbury, Treasurer Brandy Cresci, Auditor Dee Reeder, Corresponding Secretary Joyce Rice.
Committee Coordinators are Jennifer Bodine (Hawk Festival), Lisa Anderson (Silent Auction), John Sloas (Science Fun Day and Website), Sarah Rodriquez (School Spirit), and Aileen Earl-Wood (Membership).
The Principal of Rivergold School is Bob Rose.
The theme for the of 2008-09 school year is “Fit of Life….Learn for Life”.

Have we considered asking the faculty and staff to donate services for the silent auction? For instance, the primary grade teachers could offer five chances to win cookies, milk and a bedtime story. Little or no expense to the teacher but huge reward for the school.
My former school held a silent auction in conjunction with its annual fund-raising carnival and the teachers’ auctioned items earned nearly $5000. I have the last auction handbook with tons of ideas for the teachers and staff.
Other ideas: principal for the day, office helper for a day, lunch with principal/teacher, hike Lewis Creek, mountain biking, pizza party, etc…
